Day 1
Welcome to Delhi (By International Flight)
On arrival at DELHI Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminal 3), following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, as you exit the arrival terminal building, you will be welcomed by India Tours & Travels executive holding a placard in your name to greet you. Thereafter you will be assisted with a transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Delhi, India’s capital territory, is also known for its people with happy hearts and dynamic nature. A symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present, Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together and stands as one of the fastest developing cities in the world. The thriving cosmopolitan metro has a long history of empire successions from Delhi Sultanate to Mughals to British and still is the political capital of the nation.

Day 2
Explore the sites of Old & New Delhi
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with Old Delhi which still has the influence of the Mughals with monuments, mosques, and forts all through the complicated streets. Take a drive past Red Fort and reach Jama Masjid, the country’s largest mosque with fine architectural extravagance. From here, take cycle rickshaws through the small lanes of the Chandni Chowk market. This ride will be most captivating as you get a first-hand view of the merchants, the little food and artefact stalls and the swarming population, busy in their daily activities. End your old Delhi sightseeing with a stop at the world-famous 200-year-old Attar shop (Closed on Sunday). For people who are not aware of what Attar is; it is a non-alcoholic perfume, directly squeezed from herbs, fruits, flowers and spices. One can choose Rose, Sandal, Musk, Amber, Lavender, Lotus and lots of other fragrances. In the afternoon, continue with New Delhi sightseeing starting with Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, dedicated to the 8th Sikh guru Sri Harkishen Sahib, which is the most prominent Sikh shrine in New Delhi. On entering the premises, you can hear the magical chants and bhajan which relaxes the mind and the body. Make a visit the famous community kitchen which prepares food for 40,000 needy people every day. Then drive past the official buildings of New Delhi like the War Memorial Arch (India Gate), Parliament House, the official residence of the President of India and the Prime Minister’s house. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Qutub Minar, with five storeys and projecting balconies, the 73-meter-high tower is one of the most important landmarks of Delhi and a world heritage site.

Day 3
Train to Varanasi & evening Aarti (Prayer ceremony)
Departure Delhi at 0600 hrs/Arrival Varanasi at 1400hrs or similar (runs daily except Thursday)
Early morning according to the train schedule, you will be assisted with a transfer (with Packed breakfast) to New Delhi railway station to board the train to Varanasi, which is thought to be the world's oldest known living city, breathes on the banks of the holy River Ganga. For centuries, the mystique of this place has drawn pilgrims from all over India and beyond. Upon arrival at Varanasi railway station, you will be welcomed by our executive holding a placard in your name to greet you. After that, you will be assisted with a transfer to your hotel for check-in. Later in the evening, enjoy the sunset boat ride in the holy river Ganges and witness the Grand Aarti (prayer ceremony) on the ghats where dozens of oil lamps are lit and swayed in a semi-circle, in tandem by the priests to offer prayers, while singing of Vedic hymns and playing of the traditional instruments. Appreciate the beauty and significance of Varanasi's magnificent Ganga Arti and understand the culture and origins of spirituality.

Day 4
Varanasi city tour & excursion Lallapura & Sarnath
This morning, we explore the wonderful sights of Varanasi starting from Kashi Vishwanath temple, situated on the bank of the holy River Ganga. It is the most significant temple in Varanasi, devoted to Lord Shiva and it is one of just 12 in India. The remarkable golden dome makes it one of the city's most identifiable city icons (entry though is restricted for foreigners; visit would be from the outside). Sankat Mochan Hanuman (Monkey God) Temple devoted to the great Hindu deity Hanuman, who is also recognised for being an impassioned devout follower of Lord Rama. Durga Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Durga. This 18th-century Hindu temple was built by a Bengali Queen. Conclude your Varanasi sightseeing with a visit to the Unique Bharat Mata Mandir, dedicated to our country - Mother India. In the afternoon, proceed for the excursion to Lallapura village, home to Banarasi weavers who have mastered the craft of fine silk and Zari work (embroidery in pure gold). Conclude your day with a visit to Sarnath (Closed on Friday), the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha is said to have given his first sermon or in religious language, set in motion the Wheel of Law (Maha Dharmachakra Parivartan).

Day 5
Sunrise boat ride & travel to Agra
Departure Delhi at 1520hrs /Arrival Varanasi at 2220hrs or similar (runs daily except Wednesday)
Early morning (before sunrise), proceed to the Ghats to enjoy the sunrise boat ride on the river Ganges where mist obscures the silhouette of the sacred ghats, surrounding the holy places behind them in a mystical half-light. A rowing boat provides the best panoramic view for taking in the brilliance. As the sun comes up, the recitations, percussions, and ringing of the temple bells deepen, producing a magnificent glow on the divine steps and their landscape of sanctuary turrets, insignias, and parasols. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later check-out and you will transfer to Varanasi Railway station to board the train to Agra, the city is home to the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our executive holding a placard in your name to greet you. After that, you will be assisted with a transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 6
Agra Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Agra starting with a visit to Agra Fort. Originally built as a military structure, this semi-circular fort is replete with underground structures and intricate mazes that offer insight into its historical significance. Baby Taj (Itimad- ud- Daulah), renowned as a ‘jewel box’ is one of the finest mausoleums in India. The intricate engravings and ornate structure are breathtaking, and the colour white radiates a sense of unmatched tranquillity. Before returning to your hotel and spending the rest of the day at leisure, make a stop at a local sweet shop to taste local sweet Petha. The city of Agra is synonymous with the Taj and its sweet petha. A North- Indian candy, made of white pumpkin, is in the form of a translucent candy.

Day 7
Visit the Taj Mahal and continue your travel to Kalakho
Rise early to visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday), one of the most celebrated monuments in the world. Watching the marble masterpiece at sunrise is truly magical, as its surface changes colours with the morning light, from soft pinks to glowing gold. Stroll through the lush Mughal gardens, admire the fine calligraphy and intricate pietra dura inlay work, and absorb the serene atmosphere (a Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal would be subject to the weather conditions) before returning to your hotel for breakfast. Later, embark on a drive to Kalakho, a peaceful countryside village in Rajasthan that offers an authentic glimpse into rural life. The drive itself reveals changing landscapes as you move away from the bustle of Agra into the rustic charm of Rajasthan’s heartland. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to rest. In the late afternoon, set out on a memorable “Jugaad” ride—a quirky, locally engineered vehicle often assembled from motor parts and wooden planks, used by villagers for everyday transport. This fun-filled ride takes you through surrounding hamlets and farmlands, where you’ll pass by mustard fields, mud houses, and villagers engaged in their daily activities. Along the way, enjoy interactions with locals, observe traditional crafts, and experience the warmth of Rajasthani hospitality. The ride is not only entertaining but also provides a deeper appreciation of the simplicity and resilience of rural life.

Day 8
Travel to Jaipur and relax
Begin your morning with a guided visit to the organic farms and in-house dairy at your retreat in Kalakho. Stroll through the lush farmland where seasonal vegetables, herbs, and grains are cultivated using sustainable methods. Visit the dairy section to see how fresh milk is collected and processed and learn about traditional farming techniques that have sustained village life for generations. This hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with the rhythms of rural Rajasthan. Later, drive to Jaipur, the vibrant Pink City and capital of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9
Explore colourful and delightful Jaipur
Morning after breakfast, proceed an excursion to Amber Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), on the top of Aravalli Hill in Jaipur lies one of the most magnificent forts and palaces of India -The Amber Fort. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during the years 1729 to 1732, the majestic City Palace is one of the most magnificent structures in Jaipur. The vast complex is divided into distinct series of courtyards, buildings, and gardens including Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal etc. Jantar Mantar or the Observatory (a UNESCO World Heritage site) is by far the most elaborate and complete of Jai Singh’s projects, comprising sixteen masonry instruments and six made of metal. Hawa Mahal, a unique structure of mesh of small windows was designed with the aim to facilitate the women of the royal house to observe the festivities on the street. Later explore the colourful markets of Jaipur, apart from majestic buildings and stately architecture, the pink city allows you to let loose and indulge in one of the best ethnic shopping experiences in India. It’s a great place to find carpets, jewellery, and handicrafts or to get unusual camel leather slippers or bags at the bazaars. From dresses worn by locals to the beautifully draped camels, from local handicrafts to jewellery, Jaipur is a rainbow of colours at every nook and corner.

Day 10
Travel to Jodhpur, the blue city
After breakfast, check out and travel to Jodhpur (Approx. 05 to 06 hrs. drive), one of the most enchanting cities of Rajasthan, with its mighty Mehrangarh fort overlooking the city. The ‘Sun City’ and the Gateway to Thar are known for the sweets, snacks, Mehrangarh Fort and most strikingly the blue houses. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure. In the evening, experience the hospitality of an Indian family (Speak English only) for a nice authentic cooking learning experience followed by dinner. You can join the Kitchen of local residents and learn the art of Indian Cooking. In this typical home-style Indian cooking, you can choose to participate in the cooking or merely watch and enjoy a glass of wine or beer, take pictures, note down the recipes and learn the basics. Indian cooking is a diligent process involving a unique combination of various exotic ingredients such as spices, pulses, grains, and oils.

Day 11
Explore the sights of Jodhpur
Proceed for a sightseeing visiting the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, built by Rao Jodha in 1459 and situated over the top of 410 feet elevated height, it is one of the largest forts in the country. Guarded by massive Hills, the most easily recognizable fort has also been featured in several chartbusters. Jaswant Thada, the splendid marble cenotaph was built in the honour & memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II by his son in 1899 in Jodhpur. The beautiful edifice has intricate marble carvings. Old City and clock tower, also known as the Ghanta Ghar, the clock tower was made by Maharaja Sardar Singh, on whose name the market is also christened. The clock tower dominates the whole scenario of the region and the city’s heritage invites and mesmerizes the visitors. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to the Spice Market, another big attraction in the city. It not only offers rare spices at affordable prices but also gives an amazing glimpse of the Indian-style marketplace.

Day 12
Travel to Jojawar and relax
Today, embark on a journey to the picturesque village of Jojawar, a hidden gem located amidst the striking Rocky Mountains, scrub woodlands, and verdant greenery. With the magnificent Aravalli hills forming a breathtaking backdrop, this rural suburb serves as a perfect escape from the chaos of the city. Upon arrival, check in at a beautifully renovated boutique hotel that exudes an old-world charm and offers a comfortable stay amidst the rustic surroundings. We'll have the afternoon to ourselves to explore the area and bask in the serenity of this idyllic retreat. Later in the day, before dusk, take a leisurely stroll through the town to acquaint yourselves with the land and its people. We'll get an opportunity to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Jojawar and experience the warmth and hospitality of its people, who believe in treating their guests like gods. The humble abodes of these villagers speak volumes about their sustainable practices and the beauty of simplicity. As we walk through the lush greenery, we'll witness the simple pleasures of life that are often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Day 13
Rural train ride & travel to Udaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to the station in the resplendent vintage Chevy to enjoy the train safari (subject to operation), a unique opportunity to share a train ride with the Rabaris (nomadic pastoralists) and natives. The colourful attire of the Rabari women and the white turbans of the males tell us a tale of the life of nomads and herders. Cherish the scenic beauty of the small farmlands and sandy areas. The train passes by the Kambli Ghat Pass and one can spot the indigenous camel herds there. The green and gold of the natural vegetation, scrubs and crops is a sight to behold. While returning, stop at a tiny forest rest house for a break where tea and some sandwich will be served. Later after a quick freshen-up, check-out and travel to Udaipur. Enroute visit Ranakpur Jain temple (Opens at 1200 hrs. noon), one of the 5 main pilgrim sites of Jainism dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabhanatha, is distinguished all around the world for its brilliant architecture and was also voted amongst the top 77 wonders of the world. Continue your travel to Udaipur, surrounded by beautiful Aravalli Hills, the City of Lakes for its natural beauty, temples and awe-inspiring architecture is also termed as the Venice of the East. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the time at leisure.

Day 14
Udaipur sightseeing
Enjoy a city tour of Udaipur visiting Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. With its beautiful carvings, appealing statues, and serene atmosphere, it is the most significant temple in Udaipur. City Palace, built on the banks of Lake Pichola, the largest royal complex in Rajasthan, was built in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh. The palace used to be the main seat of power from which the Maharana ruled and administered the power. The granite and marble edifice now has an assortment of, courtyards, pavilions, corridors, terraces, rooms and hanging gardens, and a museum showcasing the finest elements of Rajputana art and culture. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Saheliyon ki Bari (Garden of Maids), located on the banks of Fateh Singh Lake, the majestic garden was made for the maiden accompanying the princess after her marriage to Maharaja Sangram Singh. This garden is one of the best places in Udaipur to relax and rejuvenate. Return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy one of the most exotic experiences which is “Dinner at the in-house lake side Restaurant”, situated at the bank of Lake Pichola, the perfect place to experience a gastronomical delight.
